1) To educate students about the various health professions in an interactive, informative, and in-depth manner.

2)To motivate students to pursue future success through a career in the health field.

3)To help students realize that there are many more aspects of the health field than just medical school and becoming a doctor.

WHAT TYPES OF THINGS DO WE DO? Interactive Workshops, Virtual Booths from Graduate and Professional Schools, Informative Panels from Professional Healthcare Alumni, Networking, and FAIM (Filipino Americans in Medicine)
To accomplish these goals, various post-grad schools are invited to come share what their programs have to offer. We also invite recent graduates of these schools who share their valued experiences with prospective students, as well as collaborate with the doctors and medical students of UCI’s Filipino Americans In Medicine (FAIM) to be inspirational keynote speakers and hosts of advice panels. Fulfilling the interactive portion of educating our attending students, FAIM also provides hands-on workshops such as suturing tutorials and ultrasound demonstrations to exhibit the various procedures accomplished in healthcare professions.
