FAIM is an organization of Filipino- American medical students, undergraduate students, and health care providers affiliated with the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in Orange County. Our mission is to provide mentorship to the Fil-Am pre-health undergraduate students in the Pilipino Pre-health Undergraduate Student Organization (PUSO) at UCI, to educate ourselves and our medical student peers on culturally sensitive healthcare issues for the Filipino community, to provide health services to the Filipino community in Irvine and the greater Orange County region, and to establish a strong network of physicians, residents, medical students, and undergraduates that will provide support and guidance throughout their professional careers.
