MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
KAPUSO
The KaPUSO Mentorship Program is open to all paid PUSO general members. In this program, underclassmen are paired with upperclassmen who are able to provide professional, academic, and social support to them as they transition into college life. There is no set time commitment, but as part of the program, we expect mentors to be spending time and having one-on-one interactions with their mentees regularly, and this should be organized between each pair. Throughout the year there will be several mentor/mentee challenges and at the end of the year the pair that participates in the most challenges wins mentor/mentee of the year!
Freshman, sophomores, and first year transfer students are eligible to apply to be a mentee, and juniors and seniors are eligible to apply to be a mentor. Even though the program lasts for one year, the relationship you will form with your mentor can last a lifetime! As many of you will find out, your mentor will quickly become the kuya or ate you never had.
